I have always been so fascinated by ancient Egypt and have been wanting to do a painting like this for a long time. This is my version of Isis and Osiris. There is a tragic story behind Osiris and Isis, and how Osiris became the God of the underworld. This image is how I like to think of them, young and in love before they became gods. I looked at some old papyrus images of them for refference. The clothing is a bit different from the references that I looked at. I have two signatures in this work one is my regular and one is painted in Hieroglyphics on the vase.

The sketch for this was done in Painter, the painting was done in Photoshop.

Very nice colours

Very romantic

A bit too soft in parts, the dress looks like the skin because it's all the same smoothness. Think the man needs some lines for his neck muscles.

Really nice work. I especially like the lighting.

I think that some textures could be used so the skin and clothing don't look like they are made of the same "material."

Work a bit more on the anatomy of the hands.

well i like that u figured out more about the legend...
also i like that u here display the life before Osiris is betrayed by Set , and this is clear in the skin color as u know it was different after his death...
and i like their both pose...this simplifies how Isis was quite faithful , loving and caring to her husband..
